21 & TAHOE?! wtfffff...

KHRISTINE IS TWENTYONE.

FINALLY!

Spent my birthday with most of the best people in my life.
Cousins came through to the house, including the boyfriend =] They played Street Fighter on PS3, like a happy lil bunch of kids. Afterwards, went to BevMo, picked up a bottle of X-Rated (THANKS BABES) & Patron (THANKS BROTHER BEAR). Waited at Joe's Crab Shack for all the cousins, and favorite co-workers to show up.

i lalalalove Joe's Crab Shack! Can't stress it enough.
Had an Adios Mother-Fxcker as my first drink, then worked my way through a margarita, and some of Ant's long island
ice tea. DELISH.

then ended the night at my b
f's house.
drank. drank.drank.
pictures. pictures. pictures.

FINALLY GOING TO TAHOE THIS WEEKEND!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY FEBRUARY BABIES! =]

i feel lalalovedddd.

VALENTINE'S DAY WEEKEND WAS TOO CUTESY.

A week ago i surprised my boyfriend by decorating his room with hearts strung on string from the ceiling, "i love you" printed latex balloons every where on the floor, iron-on pictures on two pillow cases and printed then taped photos on two of his walls. It came out pretty cutesy if ya ask me. Thanks to babylisa for helping me decorate & plan the surprise. =]

It honestly made me wonder if my boyfriend was going to surprise me in return. I know, i know, don't give in order to receive. You're right. But sometimes a girl, well anyone, can't help but have that thought in the back of your head. Its expectations. I got too many of them when it comes to my boyfriend.

So, through out the whole week of Vday, i kept hinting & hinting my boyfriend about any surprises, blah blah blah. I honestly felt like maybe i wasn't getting through to him, so eventually i just gave up. The day of Vday came, and i worked the morning shift from 10-5pm, pretty lame.. i know. But whatevs. I got home, showered, got ready until my boyfriend called, asking suspicious questions:

DC: babe, where are you?
ME: at home, why?
DC: oh ok, where are your parents?
ME: at the house too, why?
DC: like specifically, where?
ME: uhh.. livingroom & bedroom.
DC: oh alright, well HURRY UP AND GET READY!

So i hung up, too confused about what just happened. I continued getting ready, then 10 minutes later its my boyfriend calling, again.

DC: babe, look outside your window.
ME: huh? look outside my window?... uhh, okay.
ME: i don't see anything! wait, whats that on the walkway??
DC: i don't know. go look. HURRY.

So i walk outside my house to see a dozen + 1 red roses in a vase, with a card. I quickly went to my boyfriend's car & thanked him. I hurry up and got back in the house to read the Vday he got for me. Now for those of you who don't know, getting a card from DC really means a lot from me. He's not exactly the best at expressing his feelings, so i try and hint him to just get a card, if that'll make things easier for him.

Once i was finally done, i got in the car, and the next thing i know we're driving to SF for dinner. We're a simple couple, so dinner at the bread bowl factory/restaurant was good enough for me. I'm such a loser, i don't even know the name of the place. We got to the place, ordered clam chowder in a bowl to only find out that they were out of bread bowls? like wtf? haha, for reals? so instead they charged us $1.00 cheaper for each meal, and gave us a huge slice of bread to make up for it. As DC finished eating, he got up to throw away his paper plate.. then as he walked back, he surprised me with an engraved necklace with our initials & the date we got together. On the back it said I'll Love You Always Babes. Dannnng, was i blushing x32648189. DC has never surprised me like that. I honestly never seen that coming.

We ended the night with usuals from san leandro.
Too much fun, minus a few things that came up.

BUT ANYWAY.
Let's fasssst forward this & say:
I'LL BE 21 ON SUNDAY! CAN'T CAN'T CAN'T WAIT!!
then the following weekend:
TAHOE FOR 3 DAYS & 2 NIGHTS! =]

Valentine's Day surprise... A week early?

So, the boyfriend was out of town last weekend, which made it the perfect time for me to decorate his room for Valentine's Day. Good thing I have a key to the house, I avoided the hassle of making sure Kuya Richard would be home :)

The day started on Saturday afternoon, at the house, with Babylisa & my brother. Uploaded the pictures on Walmart.com. Eventually made our way to Walmart, to pick up the pictures, a roll of yarn, and an 8x10 frame for only $2.00 =] I lalalaloved it. Then went to Michael's to get iron-on paper, and two posterboards. Brotherbear bought two Wii games @ gamestop, and Babylisa spoiled me with a white mocha + caramel sauce. =]

Went home and handled business. Designed the two main pictures to iron, and saved the others I'd iron on too. Rearranged the pictures on the posterboard to make the shape of a heart, thanks to lisa for the idea. It came out pretty cutesy! So anyway! Let's fasssst toward this story! Went to babe's house, decorated his ceiling with hearts strung down. Used my own oxygn to blow up latex balloons, and had lisa's help printing then ironing the pictures onto two pillowcases. Overall it came cutesy x7374728.

I'll post pictures later.

Once babes got home, and seen it... He was confused. LOL I put on the door (before opening it) "a week before valentine's day, and you just had a heart attack?!" so when he opens it all he'll see hearts everywhere =]

Once again I'll post pictures later, and update this too. This blog was lame & straight to the point. K bye!
