i feel lalalovedddd.

VALENTINE'S DAY WEEKEND WAS TOO CUTESY.

A week ago i surprised my boyfriend by decorating his room with hearts strung on string from the ceiling, "i love you" printed latex balloons every where on the floor, iron-on pictures on two pillow cases and printed then taped photos on two of his walls. It came out pretty cutesy if ya ask me. Thanks to babylisa for helping me decorate & plan the surprise. =]

It honestly made me wonder if my boyfriend was going to surprise me in return. I know, i know, don't give in order to receive. You're right. But sometimes a girl, well anyone, can't help but have that thought in the back of your head. Its expectations. I got too many of them when it comes to my boyfriend.

So, through out the whole week of Vday, i kept hinting & hinting my boyfriend about any surprises, blah blah blah. I honestly felt like maybe i wasn't getting through to him, so eventually i just gave up. The day of Vday came, and i worked the morning shift from 10-5pm, pretty lame.. i know. But whatevs. I got home, showered, got ready until my boyfriend called, asking suspicious questions:

DC: babe, where are you?
ME: at home, why?
DC: oh ok, where are your parents?
ME: at the house too, why?
DC: like specifically, where?
ME: uhh.. livingroom & bedroom.
DC: oh alright, well HURRY UP AND GET READY!

So i hung up, too confused about what just happened. I continued getting ready, then 10 minutes later its my boyfriend calling, again.

DC: babe, look outside your window.
ME: huh? look outside my window?... uhh, okay.
ME: i don't see anything! wait, whats that on the walkway??
DC: i don't know. go look. HURRY.

So i walk outside my house to see a dozen + 1 red roses in a vase, with a card. I quickly went to my boyfriend's car & thanked him. I hurry up and got back in the house to read the Vday he got for me. Now for those of you who don't know, getting a card from DC really means a lot from me. He's not exactly the best at expressing his feelings, so i try and hint him to just get a card, if that'll make things easier for him.

Once i was finally done, i got in the car, and the next thing i know we're driving to SF for dinner. We're a simple couple, so dinner at the bread bowl factory/restaurant was good enough for me. I'm such a loser, i don't even know the name of the place. We got to the place, ordered clam chowder in a bowl to only find out that they were out of bread bowls? like wtf? haha, for reals? so instead they charged us $1.00 cheaper for each meal, and gave us a huge slice of bread to make up for it. As DC finished eating, he got up to throw away his paper plate.. then as he walked back, he surprised me with an engraved necklace with our initials & the date we got together. On the back it said I'll Love You Always Babes. Dannnng, was i blushing x32648189. DC has never surprised me like that. I honestly never seen that coming.

We ended the night with usuals from san leandro.
Too much fun, minus a few things that came up.

BUT ANYWAY.
Let's fasssst forward this & say:
I'LL BE 21 ON SUNDAY! CAN'T CAN'T CAN'T WAIT!!
then the following weekend:
TAHOE FOR 3 DAYS & 2 NIGHTS! =]
